red pontiac: an all around red potato, great for potato salad (which I'm making for a potluck as I write this) and said to be a great roaster. These occassionally have "netted" skin; ours are definitely not smooth so I peel them, but they don't have scab so you don't have to. Definitely not a tender skin, though. However, they're delicious!\
